Hi, I’m Tammy — founder, caretaker, and the heart behind Brindle & Sage.

With a background that spans animal welfare leadership, creative design, and luxury pet and property care, I’ve spent over two decades refining what it means to truly tend to something — whether it has fur, feathers, or roots. From directing municipal animal shelters to managing high-touch concierge pet services, my work has always been grounded in compassion, intention, and a reverence for home.

Florigen & Co. was born from the belief that care can be both soulful and elegant — a business built not just on services, but on presence. When you entrust me with your animals, your plants, or your space, you’re not just hiring a sitter. You’re inviting someone who understands rhythm, routine, and the quiet details that make a home hum in your absence.

Equal parts nurturer and creative, I bring a background in graphic design, content creation, and storytelling to everything I do — whether it's styling a homecoming scene, journaling updates, or creating vintage-inspired keepsakes from my visits. I like to think of myself as a gentlekeeper of sorts — the kind of caretaker who lights the porch lantern at dusk and leaves pressed flowers by the entryway.
